Isuzu UK has once again claimed the Pick-up of the Year crown from the industry experts at What Van? making it the fifth time in the last six years that the Isuzu D-Max has taken the title.

The What Van? Awards recognise the brands, businesses and organisations that have reached the very pinnacle of their field each year, with this year's event taking place at Intercontinental London, in Park Lane on December 8. The prestigious awards are judged by a panel of experienced industry experts from across the LCV sector and reward only the very best in each hotly contested category.

James Dallas, Editor of What Van? said "The current Isuzu D-Max took a big step up from its predecessor. While retaining the toughness and workhorse credentials for which it has always been renowned, the Isuzu D-Max is now a sophisticated truck loaded with ADAS features that are great to drive both on and off-road. In 2022 Isuzu has strengthened the D-Max line-up with additional variants, including the specialist off-road Arctic Trucks AT35 model."

George Wallis, Head of Marketing at Isuzu UK said “We are delighted to receive the Pick-up of the Year award from the renowned LCV experts at What Van? again this year. In what has been another year of tough trading conditions for the industry, Isuzu UK has continued to expand and build the model range to ensure we can offer our customers the most comprehensive line-up possible to suit the diverse requirements of our current and future customers.”

In 2022, Isuzu UK added no less than seven new variants to the line-up, including the new Isuzu D-Max Arctic Trucks AT35.
